HomeWODrx ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using HomeWODrx at homewodrx.com, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account registration — When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and any profile information you choose to add (bio, avatar).
  • Workout results — Times, scores, and notes you log for workouts are stored so you can track your progress.
  • Email subscription — If you subscribe to our Daily WOD or newsletter, we store your email address for that purpose.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — Pages you visit, features you use, and how you interact with the site. This is collected via Google Analytics 4 (see Section 3).
  • Device and browser data — Browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring URL. This helps us optimize the site.
  • IP address — Collected automatically as part of standard web server logs and by Google Analytics. We do not use IP addresses to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and improve the HomeWODrx platform
  • To create and manage your account
  • To store and display your workout history and personal records
  • To send you the Daily WOD or other communications you've opted into
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with HomeWODrx. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data, including pages visited, time on site, geographic region, and device type.

Google may use this data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

We do not share personally identifiable information with Google Analytics. IP addresses are anonymized before being sent to Google.

4. Supabase — Data Storage

User accounts, workout results, and site data are stored in Supabase, a managed database platform. Supabase stores data on secure, encrypted servers. For more information, see Supabase's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

HomeWODrx uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication — To keep you logged in to your account
  • Analytics — Google Analytics cookies to measure site usage (see Section 3)
  • Preferences — To remember your settings and preferences

6. Amazon Associates

HomeWODrx participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click an Amazon affiliate link on our site, Amazon may set cookies on your device to track referrals. We earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Amazon's data practices are governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 10). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

HomeWODrx is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & correction — You can view and update your account information at any time from your profile settings.
  • Deletion — You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
  • Email opt-out — You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
  • Analytics opt-out — Use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of HomeWODrx after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
